What Products to Use for Your Dry Toilets?

To stay in line with the spirit of dry toilets and minimize your impact on the environment, we recommend using eco-friendly products that are water-based and solvent-free. If you wish to maintain the natural wood appearance, we recommend using BLANCHON’s natural hard oil for parquet.

This is the same oil we apply to the other furniture in our range of dry toilets, and it is of excellent quality and easy to use. It will effectively protect your TLB (litter-based dry toilet) furniture.

You can easily find these types of products in hardware stores as well as specialized retailers.

How to Proceed?

  • Using a wide brush, apply a first coat of paint or varnish.
  • Follow the recommended drying time provided by the manufacturer, then sand the surfaces with fine sandpaper (150 or 180 grit).
  • Dust off the surfaces.
  • Apply a second finishing coat.
  • Allow it to dry.
  • Congratulations, your dry toilet furniture is ready for use!
