How to organize composting:

For a family of three, it is recommended to use 2 wooden composters and rotate them every year. One year, you fill the first one; the second year, the second one. In the third year, with a shovel, you empty the first one.

The compost that comes out will finish maturing in a pile, so the compost bin becomes available for a new use.

Compostable bags do not compost as quickly as dry toilet waste. When emptying the wooden composter, you will need to put the pieces of undegraded bags back inside. Next time, they will have disappeared.

It is possible to introduce earthworms into the composter to promote the natural production of humus.

However, without a bottom, if it is placed directly on the ground, earthworms can crawl up inside. The wooden composters are sold in kit form for assembly. Construction is done using bolts, and assembly is quick and extremely easy.
