This wooden ramp allows wheelchair users to overcome the slight elevation difference between the natural ground and the interior floor of the handicap cabin.

We manufacture this ramp for dry toilets in our workshop. It consists of rough, non-planed planks to prevent slipping and provide traction. On the side, a small wooden thickness signals the end of the platform to wheelchair users; this is called a “wheel jump.”

Typically made from chestnut wood, but sometimes from larch, these two types of wood have the same resistance to moisture.

Why isn’t this ramp included in the I CAG Royal Handicap dry toilet kit?

Some customers, in the case of fixed use of accessible dry toilets, prefer to level the height difference with a layer of crushed materials, which they place in front of the cabin themselves.

In any case, to comply with accessibility regulations, one of these solutions is essential.

We have chosen to provide and sell compostable bags with our dry toilets. This makes emptying and cleaning the litter easier.

Cleaning your dry toilets should be done approximately once a week (for a family of 4, for example).

Thanks to the use of compostable bags, this operation is facilitated and helps to limit the dreaded sights we all fear when emptying eco-friendly toilets.

A roll of 50-liter bags contains 10 bags.

A roll of 30-liter bags contains 10 bags.

These bags bear the “OK COMPOST” label. They are biodegradable in industrial composting within 10 to 45 days at high temperatures.

For individual composting, they decompose without any issues and without pollution, but it will take between 10 and 12 months. Since the composting of dry toilet waste takes place over 2 years, these bags are perfect for the litter in your dry toilets.

There are two types of labels you can use for your compost: the “OK COMPOST” label and the “HOME OK COMPOST” label. We would have preferred to offer you bags with the “HOME OK COMPOST” label. They decompose more quickly in your compost. However, they are only available in small sizes.
